Meet Our Staff


Kristin Wall holds a bachelors’ degree in business from the University of Oregon where she graduated Summa Cum Laude. Since 1994, Kristin has helped launch a variety of businesses, including two of her own, has co-led large projects, events, and strategic initiatives in business and nonprofit sectors, and has served on staff with One Hope since 2010. She has a passion for entrepreneurial adventure and a heart to help the overall health of the community in which she has always lived, especially in the area of social justice and youth. Kristin is married to Mark who serves as a pastor at Christ’s Center and they have a blended family of five adult children.


Jen Brown earned a bachelor’s degree in nonprofit management from the University of Oregon and has spent the last five years connecting caring community members with opportunities to help youth through philanthropy. Jen was born and raised in Lane County and is married to her high school sweetheart, Christian. They welcomed a sweet baby girl in October. She has seen first-hand the radical generosity of our community gathering around vulnerable children. 



Shiela Ericson studied accounting at Southwestern Oregon Community College before becoming a full-time mom. Shiela began volunteering at a local non-profit, soon becoming the Executive Director where she served for 14 years. She was born in Eugene, but spent most of her life on the Oregon Coast, returning to Eugene 8 years ago with her husband to be closer to her parents, two grown children, and six grandkids. She has a passion for helping children and volunteering and has been a CASA for 5 years. Her hobbies include gardening, spending time with family, and traveling to warm, sunny places.



Kelly Fountain has always had a heart for children and families in crisis.  She comes to us after serving for eleven years as the Office Manager at Camp Harlow, a place very near and dear to her heart.  She has also walked alongside children and families experiencing the effects of divorce through a program called DC4K (Divorce Care for Kids), where she served for ten years. Kelly is married to her high school sweetheart, Trevin. Together, they have a blended family of three adult kids and their spouses, an 18-year-old son, and two beautiful grandchildren.


Chloe Silence completed her bachelor's in English Literature and master's degree in Secondary Education through Grand Canyon University. She has spent her time volunteering and working in school settings. She earned her teaching license and continues to tutor kids in the community. After moving from Arizona, to California, to Eugene in the span of 3 years, she has enjoyed settling into and serving the local community with her husband, Joey. In her free time, Chloe enjoys frequenting arcades with Joey and hiking with their Aussie, Lady Blue.



Clara Smith volunteered with Every Child events for two years before joining the Every Child Lane County Staff. She teaches full-time and has been at the same school for five years. She has a strong passion for working with children and serving her community. She holds a bachelor's degree in education from North Park University as well as a master’s degree from Western Oregon University. Clara was born and raised in Milwaukie, Oregon but has lived in Florence for 5 years now where she recently purchased her first home. Clara enjoys traveling, exploring new places, and  spending time outside by hiking or walking on the beach with her dog.
